How it works?

Slate Drums SSD5.5 is in my opinion one of the best drum software out there right now. The sounds are incredibly realistic, and the options it offers are endless. But like everything else, if you don't have some knowledge of how a drum kit should sound, you might not be able to find the sound you're looking for.

I've been working with this plugin for quite some time now and know every detail of SSD5.5, which is why I've created this new pack of Presets and Samples that I'm sure will make your life easier and help you achieve drum sounds that you could even use for a professional-level production!

I've spent over five months testing and carefully selecting every piece that makes up each of the kits included in this package, to ensure that each one is not only fun to play and listen to, but also fully functional in any production, no matter what style of music you make.

But that's not all. In addition to having 21 incredible-sounding drum kits on hand, I've spent some time processing each piece of each kit through different analog equipment and plugins I have in my studio and recording them into samples. You can add them to the SSD5.5 and use them as parallel effects on the mixing console within the plugin without having to exit the plugin or route signals to the DAW. It's that easy. All the processes I perform in my mixes are just a matter of pushing the faders up!

Each kit comes with its corresponding sample pack, so they complement each other perfectly. Don't worry about phase issues between one piece and another; everything has been done with great care and aligned perfectly.

CRUNCH: Distortion generated through preamps, tape machines, and guitar pedals for character. SMASH: Brutal compression of room microphones for that gigantic sound.
